What is the Regulation for the cars of non-working brits?

A reader of  The Didymian asked us about transferring the British registered car to Turkish "MA" plate. We asked to Touring Club Izmir Branch Manager Erdogan Timucin about this situation. He mentioned that to transfer a British car to Turkish the applier must have both residence permit and working permit or the applier must be an official pensioner. The "MA" plate is valid during the working and residence permit expires and renews by as same as the working and residency permit.

If a foreign country registered car is brought Turkey, it can stay in Turkey maximum 6 months. If a car is stayed more than 6 months in Turkey the custom decides the fee of the punishment.
