Didim/Altinkum
Didim, which has been famous as the fortune telling center of the world throughout history, is popular because of it's fabulous beaches,clean air, fantastic climate and relaxed atmosphere. Altinkum beach (meaning Golden Sands) is the best beach in the area and is a popular choice for families with children as it is clean, safe, sandy and shallow. There are several other smaller beaches dotted along the pretty coastline. There are many interesting historical sites in the local area, including the impressive Apollo temple, a sight not to be missed. Altinkum boasts a good selection of bars, restuarants, shops and hotels and is a popular destination for everyone.
Bodrum
Bodrum, the southern most major holiday town of the Aegean Coast of Turkey , is considered to be the centre of attraction for the whole region. An impressive medieval castle built by the knights of Rhodes guards the entrance to the dazzling blue bay, where the Aegean and the Mediterranean Seas meet. Bodrum has gained a reputation as the centre of the Turkish art community with its many small galleries and a lively, friendly and Bohemian atmosphere. There are also a number of clubs that offer live music with something for everyone be ıt traditional Turkish folk music, jazz or easy listening to while away the balmy summer nights. It is widely believed that Bodrum has the best night life in Turkey!
Kuşadası
Numerous powdery sandy beaches with warm and clear waters, providing a peaceful atmosphere, allow a great variety of water and beach activities. Kusadasi is the perfect base for those wishing to explore some of Turkeys most famous and important historical sites as it is located close to some of the principal centres of the ancient world, including Ephesus, Didyma, Priene and Miletos. Kusadasi is reputed to be one of the most attractive cities on the Aegean and boasts some excellent examples of Ottoman and Turkish architecture located in the centre of the town. The Kusadasi Setur Marina is one of the largest and best equipped marinas in Turkey with a capacity of 629 yachts, and is visited by between 2500-3000 boats each year including many prestigious cruise liners.
